Tambopata jungle tour 4 days 3 nights

We will leave our lodge at 4.30 am where we will head upriver to El Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick in the Bahuaja Sonen National Park. On the way you will be able to observe the beautiful natural scenes and wildlife on the banks of the Tambopata River. We can observe hundreds of parrots and macaws of different species descending to feed on the mud of a ravine one of the best unforgettable experiences of this tour of the jungle of Tambopata. We will return to the lodge to recharge and enjoy our stay and free time, you will have time to swim in the Tambopata River or if you wish you can do Kayak or live the fishing of more than 250 species of fish that inhabit the river.
After lunch at our lodge we will head deep into the jungle on an ethnobotanical walk along the Tambopata trails where we will inform you about the medicinal plants and trees of the area, observing the Amazonian ecosystem and its great variety of animals.
During the night the adventure will get even better with a Caiman search in a boat on the Tambopata River. Afterwards we will head to Wasai Tambopata Lodge.

In the morning we will return to our hotel in Puerto Maldonado by boat and vehicle, where we will have time to enjoy a tasty lunch and then depart by the Madre de Dios River for 30 minutes to reach the Sandoval Lake where we will walk a distance of 3 kilometers to the shores of the lake. Here we will go canoeing where we will be able to see different species of wild animals such as herons, hoatzins, monkeys, giant otter families, etc. In the afternoon we will make our walk back to the Hotel wasai Maldonado, after dinner you can enjoy the pool and its waterfall surrounded by vegetation.

To finish our tour of the Tambopata jungle we will depart with your transfer to the airport with a scheduled farewell for your flight.
